Hi, we made an animated story about one of Hodja's adventures.

It was fun doing it.

Easterwitches

Today we celebrate Easter by dressing up like Easterwitches, old and young.
Some children go round and knock on doors and give out Easter cards and get something for it. It is a bit like "trick-or-treat" at Halloween. The Easterwitches are said to go on brooms to Blåkulla to have a party with the devil.

Spring?

Just to show you what it looks like here today! This weekend we had about 20 cm more snow. It looks like we never will see spring, we envy you. And now we have adjusted our clocks to summertime....

Measurement Result from Turkey

Hi all,
We measured the shadow yesterday at exactly 12 o'clock. Our shadow was 83 cm long.
It is springtime here We are living nice sunny days. The temperature is about 20 C.

I hope it would be like this when you come here and you can enjoy the sea and the sun

in our country.

Our shadow was 1.30 m long.
The spring has already come to us. We have beautiful sunny days and the snow has finally disappeared...

Result from Sweden

Today we were lucky, the sun shone at noon and we measured the metrestick. As you can see we still have lots of snow but it is not as cold as it used to be.
We have had a discussion about the difference, as day and night are equally long on the whole planet, are the shadows the same? When we measured the shadow was 1,86 metres. Now we'll wait to see how you are doing.
